WUB – SCHOOL OF MEDICINE TUITION FEE

All payments must be remitted to WUB by wire transfer only. WUB has not authorised any person to collect Tuition fees or any other monies on its behalf. No monies paid to any person other than WUB will be credited to the students Account with WUB. Tuition fees are subject to change.

GENERAL FEES:
Application Fee: U.S $100
Student Visa and Processing Fee: $300
Tuition Fee deposit (at the time of acceptance).

HOUSING:
While student housing is arranged by the University, the cost is not covered in the cost of tuition listed above. Student must be
prepared to pay between $250-$600 per month in rent while studying at WUB School of Medicine

HEALTH INSURANCE:
Health Insurance is mandatory. Students can either enrol in the Insurance Plan provided via WUB or provide proof of private
coverage to the Bursar prior to commencement of current semester.

CLINICAL ATTIRE:
Clinical attire, consisting of lab jackets and scrubs, dissection kits and patient examination kits are a one-time expense of
approximately $500.

Refund Policy & Regulations:
Refund Policy applies for all students who choose to pay the tuition fee in full by semester and yearly basis.

Withdrawals:
Request for withdrawal from the school of medicine must be addressed to the Dean of the academic medicine and must be in
writing with a valid reason.
Requests without specified reason will not be considered under the regulations of the university.
Date of withdrawal after acceptance of the request will be the date of the Dean receives the hand-delivered request and after the
committee of admissions affairs approves it or the date the notice is received through the mail or other delivery system.
Charges such as deposits, fees, printed material, etc. are neither prorated nor refunded.
The refund if accepted under a specific reason shall be given within 90 days of withdrawal. In case of withdrawal prior to
matriculation, the University levies an administrative charge of $ 1000.

Tuition Refund:
The University tuition refund policy to be applied in the event a continuing student leaves the School after the beginning of the
semester is as follows.
Refund application received after 30 days from the date of leaving school will not be eligible for refund.

Attendance of two (2) weeks or less Refund 40%.
Attendance of Three (3) weeks or less Refund 30%.
Attendance of four (4) weeks Refund 20%.
No refund issued after 30 days of attendance at the school

Textbooks
Textbooks must be purchased. Basic Science curriculum texts cost as per regulations of university which will be specified in student
handbook and can be purchased through the University bookstore.
